Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq is currently seeking a full-time Building Engineer to service a portfolio of properties in the Phoenix valley wide area.

DUTIES

Maintain property mechanical systems (heating and cooling) in excellent condition so they operate energy efficient and provide excellent tenant comfort levels. Maintain mechanical systems to attain its optimum life cycle. This includes but is not limited to:

Routine mechanical HVAC related repairs and replacements
Conducts routine equipment examinations and maintains detailed preventative maintenance records as directed
Testing and maintenance of property life safety systems, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, emergency generators
Perform repairs of plumbing, light fixtures, doors, hardware, light electrical, replacing lights, ballasts
Building maintenance related items including trash pickup and delivery of items requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School education; plus at least 1 year Vo-Tech education
3-6 years of commercial experience as a building engineer
EPA certification for refrigerant recovery is required
Strong human relation skills in order to interact positively with a wide range of people
Basic computer familiarity
Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
Ability to work in a team environment
Must have a clean driving record
