Overview:Tessada Associates, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst/Help Desk support representative to support the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) with Facility Management (FM) operations using the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support-Facilities Management (DMLSS-FM) software suite. The DMLSS-FM suite includes the report writer of Business (BO) and computer aided design tool of Drawbase . The Data Analyst position will work at the Joint Medical Logistics Development Center (JMLFDC) at Fort Detrick, Frederick, Maryland, and shall provide support for advanced DMLSS development initiatives proposed by JMLFDC representatives and unit level application users, as an advocate for priority initiatives as defined by BUMED.
This position will report directly to the Lead BUMED Analyst at JMLFDC.Responsibilities:Individual shall perform the following tasks:Participating in JMLFDC Facilities Management Team meetings representing BUMED's initiatives.Provide DMLSS-FM development and testing support for defined functional requirements..Support interoperability testing and analysis profiles with between DMLSS-FM and other applications. Participate in and conduct acceptance testing of various DMLSS-FM releasesIdentify and make systemic recommendations of system deficiencies for system acceptance. Categorize, record, and track discovered defects until they are resolved. Provide testing comments to the technical developers on all items that are non-compliant with the defined requirements specification and deployment strategies.Provide system integration and training services, including preparation of user organization procedures necessary to implement and operate the appropriate DMLSS Release.Provide development and maintaining support for new and existing databases at the various BUMED activities worldwide to ensure current and accurate DMLSS-FM data is captured.Entering Help Desk tickets to document problems reported by customers.Contacting site personnel via telephone and e-mail to follow-up on status of Help Desk tickets and to gather information needed to resolve open tickets.Closing help desk tickets when complete.Entering and managing "Trackers" for those Help Desk tickets that require targeted data clean-up.Remotely accessing MTF DMLSS servers to run Business Objects reports in support of gathering data.Remotely accessing MTF DMLSS servers to gather information to resolve Help Desk tickets.
