Assists Bus Driver in providing safe transportation for the Center’s children. Cooperates with Bus Driver in establishing a good physical and emotional climate conductive to the optimum development of each child. Assists the Bus Driver in cleaning the interior and exterior of the bus on a regular basis. Assists in parent involvement and mobilization of matching/in-kind funds. Substitutes in classroom when assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 18 years of age. Experience working with young children in a formal setting. Bilingual ability in Spanish/English preferred. Must have no citations for child abuse and neglect.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to pass physical and TB test. Ability to: Respond to emergency situations, bend, crouch, kneel twist, pull carry and hold small children. Occasional light lifting.
