Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Understand and become the process expert for the operations team-Leverage six sigma techniques to problem solve -Create a performance management system to integrate with the organizational scorecard -Assist with new product launch activities-Gain buy in from stakeholders to implement process improvements-Develop and manage daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting cadence-Perform testing to support system implementations and upgrades-Acts as escalation point for process and system issues Apple ignited the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II and reinvented the personal computer in the 1980s with the Macintosh. The role is an opportunity for a self-driven individual to utilize his or her business acumen, acquire process knowledge and apply analytical skills to deliver creative, value-added solutions to the Operations team at Apple. The Business Analyst needs to be adept in the use of statistical tools and techniques to be able to identify process gaps, root cause issues, recommend solutions to allow for data driven decision making.

Knowledge and hands on experience working with the end to end supply chain process improvement for forward and reverse logistics is a nice to have. Ability to crisply articulate findings to leadership and a passion for driving excellence is desired. The Business Analyst must be able to think strategically and execute tactically on operational strategies to make definitive and measurable improvements for the operations team. Ability to think out of the box and influence peers and management with analysis is desired.

Ability to create the appropriate measurement framework to drive corrective action and improve customer experience will be a measure of success for this role. Familiarity with SAP from a data entry and inventory control perspective is desired. The Business Analyst also possesses and maintains a high degree of knowledge regarding data sources and relationships. The analyst provides the expertise required to guide the organization in driving changes in data required to meet the needs of the business.The Business Analyst will lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues and may require to travel occasionally.
