The Business Analyst/Manager of Strategy and Analytics will work with work with the EA Labels Strategy and Analytics teams to support the strategic and business planning efforts for EA Labels, an organization comprised of 5 business units totaling $4B+ in annual revenue. In this capacity, the Analyst/Manager will serve as a key resource for EA executive leadership and functional organizations (marketing, development studios, operations, etc.) to provide insight into market dynamics across the interactive entertainment sector. Sample deliverables include comprehensive market sizing and analysis, metrics/key performance indicator tracking, business development and operational improvement analysis. This role provides high visibility across the organization and access to senior leadership, with an emphasis on driving to results.
Communicate analysis and recommendations to an audience that includes label executives, marketing and development teams. Validate the accuracy of the data and ensure business requirements are met
Be a power user of various analytics tools
Mine the data to spot interesting trends and suggest actionable marketing programs or product features
Partner with product marketing and development teams to ensure implementation of these programs
Continuously act as point of contact for ‘data consumers’ and ensure cross functional collaboration throughout all projects
Evangelize use of data throughout the organization
Education: 4 year degree in relevant field of study – e.g. economics, statistics, business, marketing preferred; Advanced study/Masters degree a plus
Motivated, inquisitive self-starter – prepared to think creatively and learn on the fly
Interest or related experience in entertainment, media, technology
Comfortable with data analysis, synthesis and presentation; Excel, PowerPoint, Access databases
