EBS Business Analyst
Serves as a subject matter expert associated with the content, processes, and procedures associate with enterprise applications. Defines requirements, analyzes business needs, and validates solutions with the client. Applies functional area knowledge to the design and customization of workflow systems that provide seamless integration for client/server and/or internet-based applications. Documents functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues. Evaluates development projects and assists in tailoring the development process to meet the project needs. Develop requirements definition documents in accordance with change management procedures.
Support Functional Team with data analysis, validation, and mapping.
Work with Development Team to ensure quality data.
Use Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) knowledge to define business processes and create solutions.
Document data mappings between external systems and Army Contracting Business Intelligence System (ACBIS).
Develop Contract Action Review (CAR), spend analysis, validation, and other reports using COTS Business Objects.
Create ad-hoc reports based on customer requests and data calls.
Provide end-user functional and technical support to identify problems through research, analysis, and querying database test data during migration, upgrades, and software conversions.
Perform data collection, quality audits, and validation of data objects.
Resolve data issues found during testing and auditing through collaboration with Development Team.
Support data validation across transformation and load phases of ETL process.
Train end-users to use Business Objects reporting tool software.
Develop end-user training modules and guides.
Establish documentation and reports management procedures to support change management.
R espond to DoD data calls and anomaly reports to include providing estimated level of effort for response/resolution.
Participate in formal systems testing (prepare test plans and test reports, develop test scripts, execute tests, and record results).
General technical aptitude as demonstrated by certificates such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
Operational experience in Information Assurance practices to secure and maintain systems. Job Location Fort Lee, Virginia, United States
