This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. This position will report to our Rhinebeck, NY corporate headquarters.
The Business Analyst will assist in the following areas within the Strategic Sourcing department: Utilize internal and external systems (Fulcrum) to manage and optimize acquisition and delivery methods. Assist with vendor relationship and management activities. Work with other members of the Strategic Sourcing department to analyze purchase data and improve fulfillment strategies to maintain high quality standards. Effectively manage supplier delivery methods to ensure that bid requirements are being fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner Support Project Directors by monitoring sample requests, obtaining bids, pricing and delivery. Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with fraud detection requirements. Work with project staff to determine ideal sample mix paying close attention to end user data requirements. The successful candidate will possess the following: Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or Mathematics Excellent organization, negotiation & communication skills Analytical, critical thinking and strong mathematical skills Advanced Excel skills Excellent computer skills with an aptitude to learn new systems Excellent understanding of database concepts Quantitative skills with outstanding problem-solving capabilities Market Research Industry experience preferred.
