In this role, you will be involved in client-specific work in banking and financial service industries, interacting directly with client decision-makers and senior personnel. Provide analysis in support of client projects, working closely with professionals from both the client and the consulting team
Conduct interviews with designated client officials to gather information on current business processes
Identify, analyze, document and interpret trends in complex business processes
Identify challenges and inefficiencies in client business processes
Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations based on best practices and industry standards
Guide team to create process documentation and review all documentation created by internal team or the client team
Create and review appropriate project management documentation
Work with internal RiskSpan team to gather benchmarking data when applicable
Create requirements to automate the manual paper workflow
Identify and design solutions for clients that will improve business processes
Perform financial analysis related to process improvement
Create project management documentation
Compose proposals and presentations using Microsoft Word, Visio and PowerPoint
BS/BA Degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Economics from an accredited institution; strong academic background desired
Experience performing business process analysis preferred
Mortgage or other finance experience
Capital Markets experience preferred
Experience conducting various types of business process analysis including:
Diagramming workflow analysis of a business unit or department
Identifying cost savings based in industry standards and best practices
Cost Benefit analysis
GAP analysis to determine what steps need to be taken in order to move from a current state to a desired future state
Candidate must be able to express the Current State as well as the “Target State” and prepare recommendations in clear concise business language
A strong, motivated candidate who can interact with all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy.
Candidate must be able to delve into complicated business processes with minimum background knowledge and provide process and fiscal improvement recommendations.
Professional level experience with Microsoft Excel, Visio and Word.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Willing to travel to client sites or other locations
