Job Description:
Ranked #1 in its industry, this stable Fortune 500 Company located in the Phoenix area is in search of an experienced Business Application Analyst for an exciting long -term contract position with their team!

Working in a large corporate environment, this candidate will be responsible for analyzing processes, information and data and coordinating activities across multiple entities to resolve defects.

Responsibilities include:

Experienced with eCommerce and web transactions
Utilizes available resources to document requirements related to e-commerce solutions.

Plans and performs analysis of e-commerce activities and/or functions and guides the subsequent design and implementation or improvement of existing e-commerce applications.

Document requirements using interviews, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, scenarios, business analysis and workflow analysis.

Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed; Scope, Project Charter and Business Requirements Documents.

Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers
Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their goals based on requirements.

Requirements:

Experience in eCommerce (specifically retail shopping cart applications/functionality)
Experienced in web commerce, shopping carts, storefronts and improving user experience with eCommerce sites. Minimum 4 years eCommerce experience.

Strong experience in the following methodologies: quality and auditing, reporting, technical documentation, test plan development and version control.
Project management principles
Software system testing practices
Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

Experience with web transactions a plus!
