Are you looking for a dynamic work environment? These positions are Business Analysts with the Department of Public Health and Human Services . We are looking for employees who can help us to provide services to promote healthy people and healthy communities.

There are currently two positions available, however, applicants need only submit one application to be considered for both positions.

For this position we offer yearly benefits , which include:

Duties: The Business Analyst develops and recommends solutions to enhance the bureau’s business operations and eligibility information systems. Other responsibilities include: 1) Assisting in the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the eligibility systems; 2) Analyzing data and developing solutions or alternate methods of proceeding; and 3) Developing recurrent reports for state and federal reporting including management reports.

Competencies: Required for the first day of work:

· Knowledge of information system analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance.
· Knowledge of business operations, cost analysis, and research techniques.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
· Ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
· Ability to recognize and solve problems.
· Ability to facilitate collaboration and cooperation.
· Ability to operate a personal computer and general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, including using spreadsheet, word processing, database, email, internet, and other computer programs.


· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, analytics, business or human services related.
· Two years experience in business system analysis.
· Equivalent combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
