We are seeking a Business Analyst to execute the solution requirements gathering process, identifiy the skill sets and competencies required to provide the solution, and execute/monitor the plan through the Finish Line workflow and processes by performing the following duties.
Gathers the functional and technical requirement specifications necessary to meet the project deliverables and deadlines. Creates and maintains project documentation including, but not limited to: solution requirements specifications, test plans, test results, and user acceptance test results and approvals. Gathers the functional and technical requirement specifications necessary to meet the business support needs. Creates and maintains all related support documentation including, but not limited to: solution requirements specifications, test plans, test results, and user acceptance test results and approvals. Ensures business unit management, IS resources and users are effectively engaged in the development and execution of the solution. Recommends changes and/or software enhancements to improve business efficiency Manages multiple concurrent projects and priorities
Education and/or Experience :
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; equivalent Finish Line experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MUST HAVE Experience with Retail Merchandising or Allocation system. Additional 2 – 3 years as an IS Business Analyst or similar role.
Communication Skills :
Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of peers, managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to interpret dcustomer business needs and translate into application and operational requirements
Decision Making/Problem Solving Skills :
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization exits. Ability to interpret and utilize a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills :
Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
