The Business Applications Analyst (SAP) is responsible for assisting with business process analysis, development, maintenance and enhancement of business applications, and providing specialized technical or business knowledge to projects. This position will work through the creation of functional requirements and test plans in support of the business process design, new system development, software implementation prototype and system testing, user training and recommending business procedure improvements.

Responsibilities:
Independent thinker who possesses product knowledge of multiple SAP Financial modules, including Order Management Supply Chain, Accounts Receivable/General Ledger or Credit & Collections.
Act as liaison between business users and technical support in the daily support of Canon SAP and 3rd Party Applications.
Work closely with business users to understand business process and requirements.
Translate business needs into process improvement and technical enhancements.
Create detailed IT Functional Designs in order to expand Canon Solutions America's acumen.
Triage and resolve system issues.
Create and perform functional testing of all system defects and enhancements.
Work closely with SAP Development resources to insure proper communication of Canon Solutions America's requirements. Review technical documents to insure cross application integrity is considered.
Insure all documentation standards are followed for their Business Areas.
Assist in the development of training materials
Assist with routine patch testing and upgrades; oversee the conversion of data and testing of interfaces/extensions as necessary.
Must be flexible and willing to travel as projects dictate.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable field
Experience in Customer Support and Training
2-5 years Document Solutions Industry Experience
SAP ERP experience in SAP Financial modules, Order Management Supply Chain (AR,GL,Fixed Assets)
Clear understanding and hands on experience with GL/Fed Admin/AR Accounting setups
Understands the standard development lifecycle activities, from requirements definition through design, testing, implementation and post-production validation
Skilled in SQL
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)and attention to detail
10% travel (mainly in tri-state area)
70% functional and 30% technical
Experience across the entire standard development lifecycle
Experience writing functional/business requirements and preparing functional designs
