Position Overview
The Inside Sales representative is responsible for generating net new opportunities for Vendavo’s North American market through creative, assertive, and diligent lead generation tactics.

Drives net new prospect lead generation with C-level executives in mid-market and enterprise companies

Uses creative and well-researched lead generation tactics: cold calling, VITO letters, content marketing, nurture programs

Maintains a nurture cadence for early stage prospects through electronic, phone, and other nurture programs

Experience generating qualified leads in B2B mid-market and enterprise companies

Experience generating qualified leads for companies like Vendavo, who sell enterprise software solutions

Well-versed in how to research prospective client companies (Linkedin, Hoovers, Onesource, etc.) to identify potential sales opportunities and potential buying influences

Conducts external market research (prospect websites, annual reports, industry information, etc.) to identify potential leads and opportunities

Articulate, well-spoken, excellent written and verbal communication skills

Use of CRM system (like to create and track lead generation activities

Bachelor’s degree required. Education and/or experience in Economics, Statistics, Business, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Operations or related field

Experience in software sales related positions

3+ years’ experience setting appointments with large, B2B companies

Must have experience calling into senior level executives

Self-starter with experience in cold calling, lead management and relationship building

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional track record of quota and goal achievement

Demonstrated experience in creating successful lead generation campaigns

Accustomed to working in a sales environment where 1 lead generation expert supports 4 to 5 sales account executives
