Konica Minolta Business Solutions is currently seeking a Business Development Analyst.

The Business Development Analyst is primarily responsible for the development of professional proposals for Large Opportunities, including Fortune 1000, other commercial companies, colleges, hospitals and various local government agencies.

In this high-profile position, the Business Development Analyst works closely with Konica Minolta’s direct sales channels to manage all bid-related activities and engage the resources necessary to create a comprehensive bid response. Additionally, the Business Development Analyst provides detailed price analysis to determine proper, account-specific pricing based on prevailing market and competitive environments.
  • Extensive review and analysis of the business and contract terms of all incoming price requests.
  • Prepare and review financial analysis for specific price requests.
  • High-level interaction with field sales, upper management, leasing partners and various internal departments in obtaining the information necessary to develop a complete bid response.
  • Communication and review of pricing with management and field sales personnel.
  • Creation of pricing contracts and other required documentation.
  • Ensure documentation is properly presented for integrity.

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-4 years professional experience in bid development, sales or marketing.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with all departments within company.
  • Knowledge of contract and leasing terms and conditions.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, firm deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Strong creative business writing skills are essential.
  • General knowledge of the Office Equipment Industry or Business-to-Business Bid process.
  • Advanced organizational, problem solving, analytical and financial skills required.
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) required; knowledge of SAP, a plus.
