Our growing organization requires the services of a Business Development Associate to support our Business Development group in response to new business opportunities. Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for activities related to the support and development of new business opportunities
  • Produce bid proposal documents in support of new business opportunities
  • Maintain a database of key bid documents, case studies and proposals
  • Produce sales presentations and sales collateral
  • Respond to license requests from clients; coordinate license quotes
  • Assist with coordination of events and tradeshows
  • Manage contract renewals process for clients
  • Professional, concise, and where appropriate bespoke, high quality writing, that meets the client requirements for all correspondence/ documentation associated with a client opportunity; RFI, RFP, RFQ, Presentations, Questions, Addendums, Agendas
  • Some administrative duties related to maintaining client and opportunity databases, certifications
  • Recent College or University Graduate with diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or Finance, or related field
  • Ambitious, quick, capable of working independently, and able to multitask
  • Strong English language (verbal and communication skills) including the ability to write and compose creatively and relay information accurately to other parties
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good organization, time management and detail skills
  • Demonstrate and maintain a high level of tact and professionalism
  • Ability to produce quality work within time constraints and to deadline
  • Fully literate in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to work on own initiative within agreed guidelines
