Job summary
Business Development Associates works to build partnerships negotiate partnerships that benefit Strategis Staffing client, the partner and the end customer. Their main focus is to gain acquisition sales opportunities based on sales objectives set by Strategis Staffing client. Meets or exceeds company sales objectives including: margin/cost benefit, sales call/site visit reports, accurate data recording and training. The Business Development Associates will be responsible for driving sales for E-Now, LP in the ERCOT market to multifamily, grocery/convenience retail, telecom dealers to gain access and referrals to their customers/residents with smart meter enabled apartments or homes. Business Development Associates are expected to develop new business as well as maintain and enhance existing customer relationships. Individual must excel in a dynamic, fast paced, team environment. Summary of essential job functions

Partner with apartment communities, grocery store chains, paystations, check cashing chains and other related locations to launch new acquisition campaigns
Present E-Now value proposition at select events, symposiums and community venues
Assist in other marketing activities as required from staging and attending events to managing partner/customer relations
Present sale presentations to executives and staff on the value of partnering with E-Now
Keep management informed regarding drivers and barriers to sale to optimize systematic improvement of sales process
Serve as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role
Represent company in a professional and ethical manner

Minimum requirements

Minimum of 2 years successful sales experience
Ability to operate effectively in a start-up environment
Effective in a variety of formal presentation settings; one on one, small and large groups; effective both inside and outside the organization; can change tactics midstream accordingly
Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form to all levels of an organization
Sound analytical skills. Ability to exercise personal judgment to make a decision where required
Ability to meet defined sales/financial goals and objectives
Must be able to work in an independent environment without daily supervision
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent math and English skills required
College degree or coursework preferred

High level of honesty and integrity
Must be a proven self-starter

Knowledge of deregulated electric market, preferably the ERCOT market
Must be an effective team player.

Valid Driver’s License required

Abilities required

Outstanding phone etiquette and polished communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work on a computer in a seated position and use a telephone is required.
Strong presentation skills
Excellent listening skills
Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers
Attentive to detail and committed to high quality customer service
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
Willingness to identify problems and suggest process improvements
Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications
Solid data entry skills
Effective in the use of the Internet
Comfortable in a fast paced environment where change is commonplace
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
