Background Information – FGI

The Company is headquartered in the Financial District of New York City, with business development offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, London (UK) and Toronto (CA).

Background Information – Department

FGI Business Development Team is one of the most effective and respected business development teams in the industry. The Business Development Team is primary in charge of generating new leads and culling the market for new opportunities, but it also works to build and maintain meaningful and lasting relationships with clients.

Functional Responsibilities

The BDC will work in close cooperation with the Business Development Team. Duties will include:

Managing the CRM

Trip Planning and booking

Local events registration

Set up meetings for BDOs and Director

Managing Calendars and Agenda

Sending Mail merge

Preparing and coordinating presentations

Coordinating Pipeline meetings

Career Fairs

Running reports

Education and Experience

BA/BS degree Required;

1 to 2 years administrative experience working with high level executives;

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;

Advanced Knowledge of Excel is preferred;

Thorough knowledge of administrative procedures such as word processing, file/record management and other office terminology;

Fluency in writing, reading and understanding English.


Team player with ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously;

Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented;

Ability to prioritize work flow and excellent time-management skills;

Excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate with all levels of management;

Ability to work well under pressure;

Comfort with a fast paced and growing environment.
