Senior Business Development Director – Life Sciences & Industrial

Planning, designing, constructing, and validating facilities dedicated to delivering pharmaceutical and biologics products is the cornerstone of Parsons’ life sciences business. Recognized as an industry leader, we develop innovative, functional, and efficient facilities for customers who then develop, produce, and market pharmaceuticals and biologics. We provide best-in-class support for our worldwide customers in their operational and capital expansion needs by developing long-term relationships that support both their small projects and their large capital programs. Our expertise is based on hands-on knowledge of drug development and manufacturing processes, an intimate familiarity with cGMP (current good manufacturing practice) systems, and the successful completion of a wide variety of life science facilities.
Parsons is seeking a Senior Business Development Director to help drive expansion into the life sciences business. The successful candidate will leverage their relationships to capture pursuits relative to pharmaceutical and biologics facilities doing infrastructure planning, design, construction management, and operations and services. Prefer seasoned Business Development executive with demonstrated background of winning programs and partnering with Program Managers. We will also consider an aggressive up-and-comer excited to grow with our firm. Extensive travel may be required to cultivate new and ongoing business development activities. Can be based anywhere in the United States.
15 + years of demonstrated business development experience selling Project Management/Construction Management services to pharmaceutical and biologics companies.
Proficiency in commercial/industrial construction program management required.
Extensive contacts within life sciences market highly preferred.
4-year Degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent)
