Position Overview: The Business Development Director is responsible for developing relationships with corporate marketers and identifying qualified new revenue opportunities across our diverse client portfolio of national advertising and marketing services agencies. Responsibilities also include supporting strategy development, vendor management, campaign optimization and execution.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage new business development activities for up to three marketing services agencies.
Ensure client new revenue goals and objectives are met and are linked to appropriate
messaging, targeting, and outreach channels.
Brief clients on meetings set with corporate marketers and facilitate meeting logistics.
Monitor activity and evaluate program strategy monthly to improve program results.
Prepare weekly, quarterly, and annual executive-level reports.
Manage / support relationships with marketing vendors.
10+ years experience in inside sales/new business
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline
The successful candidate will have an understanding of the marketing services landscape, and have held a business development or senior account director position or revenue generation position in the past, and has excellent project management and quantitative skills. Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, and work well independently and within a team.
