Prairie St. John's, a 94-bed psychiatric care facility located in Fargo, North Dakota, has been providing services for children, adolescents and adults to address mental health issues, chemical dependency or addiction and co-occurring disorders since 1997. Prairie offers a full-service psychiatric and addiction Continuum of Care. This Continuum of Care includes inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization, residential treatment, intensive outpatient services and clinic services.

The foremost responsibility of the position is to lead Prairie St. John’s business development and marketing efforts to effectively communicate to, develop, and sustain referring relationships with payors, professional referral sources, consumers and other customers, with an emphasis on meeting their needs. We want our customers to understand how best to use our services, therefore, resulting in a high quality satisfaction experience. Additionally, the ideal candidate will promote a marketing and customer service culture amongst the employees of Prairie St John’s, and serve as an effective manager and communicator.


The following are the job requirements for the Business Development Director position:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
• Three (3) years’ experience in business development and sales
• Strong client service background
• Prior healthcare experience is preferred.
• Public speaking experience
• Ability to present materials in a clear, concise and logical manner.
