Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The Commercial Business Development Executive will be instrumental in helping grow business through cultivating new opportunities for Insitu products and services in the commercial marketplace. The commercial market is a high priority growth area for Insitu and therefore this position will be a high profile position. The Commercial Business Development Executive is responsible for executing the Insitu Commercial Market Capture Strategy and creating associated communication plans, marketing strategies, and resource plans. This position will partner with Marketing, Demo Team & Protocol Officer to coordinate demonstrations for potential customers and key stakeholders. They will need to attend bi-monthly sales meetings, trade shows, events and on-site client visits to increase brand awareness.
Knowledge - Skills & Abilities Required: Required:
10 or more years of demonstrated sales/business development experience
Demonstrated capability to work in a team environment
Demonstrated expertise executing plans/project/negotiations on-time and within budget
Willingness to travel up to 60%
Strong Word, Excel & Powerpoint skills
Professional demeanor with clear and direct communication skills
Proven experience in development & execution of an effective sales activity plan
Confident and approachable attitude
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
High level of time management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage accounts
Preferred:
Unmanned Aerial System experience
Active Security clearance
Armed Services/Military expertise
Education:
BA/BS required; Advanced degree highly desirable.
