Business Development Manager – IT Solutions
Job Summary

The role of Business Development Manager includes responsibility for servicing and growing Ranger’s client base by understanding current technology trends, identifying client business needs, qualifying opportunities, presenting solutions to meet client needs, and negotiating terms and pricing of the delivered solution for professional services opportunities. The individual will be working closely with Ranger’s recruiting team and professional services delivery organization throughout the sales and customer service cycles. This position will play major a role in driving practice-related business development and pre-sales activities, and defining and selling practice related consulting solutions. We are seeking an energetic and goal oriented professional to market and sell Ranger’s comprehensive services. This position will be based in the Ft. Lauderdale metro area.

Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Five to ten years of in-depth understanding of delivery of IT services as an Account Manager, Business Development Leader, etc
  • Leverages business and technical expertise across disciplines, demonstrating a high level of industry knowledge
  • Contributes to the strategic direction of the client group(s). May provide guidance to senior management
  • A background with executive project management, risk management and direct project delivery to ensure client satisfaction and contractual deliverables
  • Strong background in systems design, development and integration, knowledge of development and QA methodologies and platforms
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems, Data Warehouse and other enterprise level technologies
  • Documented track record of exceeding business objectives
  • Has maintained successful track record of career accomplishments
  • Be recognized as a 'Thought Leader' in defined discipline(s) with strong cross functional expertise
  • Team-oriented and accustomed to working in collaborative environments
  • Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Strong project management skills and experience
  • Proven expertise in solving complex issues in high-pressure situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to develop presentations and present to management. Strong knowledge and understanding of business principles, practices and procedures

  • Ability to Lead the alignment of clients’ IT strategies with business strategies and solutions, and help to transform the IT organization, processes, infrastructure and technologies through financial discipline and a business-focused perspective
  • Solid verbal, written, facilitation, prospecting, account development and presentation skills and abilities.
