Our client seeks an elite-level Business Development Manager who is an expert in online education and training.

You are ready to define strategy and put together tactics for your vertical, and flat out execute against plan. Your network is extensive, and your reputation is legendary.

Responsibilities:
  • Hunts, identifies, and recruits new partners onto our network through outbound efforts
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; defining partners’ needs and goals
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions for assigned vertical(s)
  • Builds an action plan laying out goals, strategy, tactics, and timeline
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with partners
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Significant experience in business development or sales
  • Previous experience in this vertical strongly preferred
  • Assertive, passionate, and fearless
  • Sound business acumen
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team setting
  • Passion for online education and training
