Crucial to Carenet’s Sales & Marketing team’s revenue achievement, the Business Development Manager is responsible for generating interest in our products and services within the healthcare industry. This position plays a vital role in the overall company’s growth strategy by initiating lead generation efforts including uncovering potential prospects, qualifying prospects, identifying the decision-making process, providing marketing collateral, and setting up sales meetings with the prospect decision-makers and Carenet’s Sales Directors.

Extensive cold calling sales experience with a consultative approach and the ability to successfully qualify and identify decision-makers at a National level are vital differentiators of our “best in class” lead generation team

Key Responsibilities:

§ Contact prospects via telephone, email and direct mail in order to generate client interest, develop sales opportunities, qualify prospects, and develop new business opportunities with company executives

§ Conduct thorough prospect qualifications including the identification of prospects, their budgets, timeliness of buying cycle, key decision makers and uncovering the fit/need for Carenet’s services

§ Using an in-depth understanding of Carenet’s services, communicates the value proposition in a quick, compelling, and effective manner with key decision makers over the telephone

§ Conduct research to uncover appropriate executive level contacts

§ Provide first-hand feedback and recommendations on our marketing efforts based on direct experience with potential clients

§ Meet established quota for outreach activities and other sales metrics

§ Maintain and update the lead database in ACT

§ Maintain a consistent sales pipeline for future growth of our organization

§ Assist in the development of Marketing collateral, (i.e. direct mail, sales slicks, presentations, etc.)

Job Requirements:

§ 2-3 years of inside sales, prospecting and business development experience required.

§ Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university or equivalent work experience required.

§ Demonstrated track record of lead generated business development at C-suite level required.

§ Proven effectiveness at conducting business phone conversations and time management skills.

§ Exceptional oral and written communication skills with strong presentation capabilities are required.

§ Prior healthcare industry experience is highly desirable.

§ Excellent at discovering new opportunities and very comfortable with "opening new doors and relationships"

§ Experience with web research tools and navigation within large organizations to uncover executive level contacts and decision makers.
