Role Summary:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in helping publishers monetize their digital advertising inventory across online display, video and mobile media. At the same time, you will be helping Exponential further increase its footprint as one of the largest digital advertising platforms in the world. In this role, you will identify new quality publisher prospects, come up with creative solutions for pricing models and contract structures, negotiate terms with publishers, and work closely with publishers to meet their goals and grow the revenue delivered through their account. Identify new high quality publisher prospects, negotiate business terms, and close new business opportunities via email, phone and video.

Manage a portfolio of website publishers, monitoring their overall traffic, identifying opportunities for growth and areas of risk, and troubleshooting problems that may arise.

Establish close relationships with publisher partners.

Work closely with publisher contacts to increase volume where profitable for the company.

Negotiate long-term contracts to lock up inventory sources.

Work with internal stakeholders to understand demand side of the market and react to network trends across the globe, including US, UK, India and Australia.

Build strong relations with key media players and industry bodies.

Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of business experience in an analytical or client-facing role.

BS degree required in a technical or related field, advanced degree preferred.

Extremely motivated & solution-oriented.

Aptitude for prospecting, identifying sound business opportunities and closing business.

An ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Talent for developing creative solutions to open-ended problems.

Strong analytical ability and data-driven mindset.

Ability to succeed both independently and in a collaborative, team-based atmosphere.

High degree of accountability and passion for work.
