Solicit new business in a dedicated geographic territory principally by telephone
Ongoing Account management and requisite travel to Key Account client sites
Negotiate and execute contracts
Strive to exceed monthly goals for revenue and gross profit/margin
Work collaboratively with team of physician sales and recruiters to maximize value of contracts and ensure client satisfaction
The Business Development Manager will sell to hospitals, health systems and third-party healthcare management groups to acquire new clients that need temporary physician staffing services. The role offers a competitive base pay and individuals should earn six figures with sales growth. Qualifications:
High energy individual with strong communication and phone skills (averaging 60 calls per day)
Effective negotiation and client relationship skills
Past experience and success in healthcare / physician recruitment / locum tenens sales strongly preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years work experience and success in the direct sales and/or phone sales of healthcare products or services
College degree strongly preferred
Must be based in our Atlanta office
Prefer knowledge of hospital medicine and emergency medicine
Must be at least 18 years old.
