Perform functions to implement the organization's business development strategy, identify new business opportunities, maintain key relationships, and negotiate and secure business deals within defined market segments

Build long standing relationships with key account personnel

Create account awareness of current and new capabilities and products to current and potential customers

Identify and generate projects through collaboration with Culinary and Technical Services to meet customers’ ongoing needs

Develop profitable volume with current / new customers, segments, and markets as assigned

Serve as the primary point of contact for all communication and account management issues related to assigned accounts including but not limited to pricing, service, quality, and safety

Submit monthly reports detailing activities, sales volume, and expenses as defined

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations

Performs other duties as assigned

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Strong technical background

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

Strong communication skills, written and verbal

1-5 years related experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook

Approximately 50% travel required

Off hour and weekend work required as needed - 18 months ago - save job - block
