As the Business Development and Marketing Coordinator, you will:

At the direction of the Vice President of Business Development work to formulate and implement short-and long-term strategic business development plans and tactics for initiatives in areas identified by company management; This includes proposal preparation, client follow-up, problem solution, coordination and communication. Marketing intelligence, monitoring and reporting on relevant developments in target industries that could result in new client opportunities. Coordinate company advertising and public relations campaigns. General business development administrative activities. Coordinate and manage marketing events, including trade shows, receptions, and conferences; includes assisting with invitations, RSVP database, hotel/meeting space contracts, and producing event materials. Company website administration. Meeting and Travel arrangements for company business development activities. Liason with internal company resources to insure on-time and on budget delivery of customer required products and services.

Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 3-5 years of direct work experience with biotechnology, medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing organization in a marketing or business development capacity. Experience in a contract manufacturing environment preferred. 1 + years of direct experience in preparation of business proposals to scientific or technical organizations. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe, In-Design or similar print design and production software. Solid proofreading, researching and financial skills.
