The Business Development Representative is responsible for the initial phases of the sales cycle. They will identify, qualify and schedule face to face meetings for outside sale representatives. The successful candidate will have the ability to source lead lists when necessary and will devise creative methods for researching and qualifying targeted customers. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable speaking with upper management and financial decision makers.
Achieve monthly appointments set and held objective
Respond to all marketing generated inquiries and pro-actively call into targeted prospect lists
Penetrate target accounts, develop key contacts, and understand how key departments are organized
Communicate DSSs value proposition and tailor it to the prospects business needs
Successfully schedule a face to face meeting between the prospect and an outside sales representative.
Provide feedback on the prospects needs and competitive issues
Provide assistance to other team members on products and departmental processes
Enter all pertinent prospect data into DSSs CRM tools
