About the job:
The Business Development Representative will become an expert in generating, prospecting, and qualifying leads, one of the most important components of the sales process. As an active member of the Zmags sales team, the incumbent will drive opportunities, build pipeline and drive revenues for the enterprise sales team. This role is an excellent opportunity to prove yourself in a fast paced sales environment, in an expansion stage Software-as-a-Service company with opportunity for career growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Making 75+ phone calls (10+ conversations) per day to major brands and e-commerce retailers to build the pipeline for the enterprise sales team
  • Reporting directly to the VP of Sales and working closely and collaboratively with the enterprise sales team to implement a Go to Market Strategy
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly individual and team metric/revenue quota
  • Qualifying leads by understanding their business needs, goals and evaluating their fit for our solution
  • Gain comprehensive understanding of Zmags’ products and the online retail and e-commerce industry
Qualified candidates are/have:
  • Highly self-motivated and driven

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • A passion for technology
  • Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
  • Experience using CRM software is a plus
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 1-2 years of previous successful prospecting experience, or recent grad with related leadership and internship experience
