Business Development Specialist

Business Development Specialist: Greater Jacksonville Market

Immediate opening for business development specialist in the greater Jacksonville extending throughout Northeast Florida. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic business development specialist who will a focus on growing our company and have ongoing communication with clinical and operations staff.

The business development specialist job description includes the following:

- Physician sales calls
- Industrial sales calls
- Community sales and marketing events
- Coordination of community education and outreach opportunities
- Related business development administrative work including but not limited to documentation of sales calls, development of collateral materials, timely reporting of mileage and reimbursable expenses
- Work with regional marketing manager to ensure census success of all Florida clinics Full-time position, travel required in the Florida region. Salary plus commission program. Base salary dependent upon experience and credentials. Reliable transportation is required, mileage is reimbursed for company business. Prior marketing experience a plus but not required. College degree preferred.

HCR ManorCare provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, home health care and rehabilitation therapy. We rely on the Business Delevopment Speciialist's expertise to build and grow census and quality mix by developing referral relationships with existing customers and developing new business through account management systems. Maintains a thorough knowledge of the centers products and services, acuity capabilities and physician relations. Invests a minimum of 80% of work time on face-to face referral development completing sales calls to physicians, hospital and medical professionals, community, managed care and other related contacts. ·Meets weekly with Administrators or department heads to discuss marketing issues. ·Assist center marketing team to identify niche opportunities, market diversification and market share strategies. ·Evaluates center physical environment and discuss with Administrator. ·Maintains an educated understanding of all payer sources and their impact on revenue. Educational Requirements:
Bachelors' degree preferred. Considerable experience in a comparable position will be considered in lieu of degree.

Position Requirements:
3-5 years of sales experience, preferred in health care services, products or pharmaceuticals.
