DESCRIPTION

Supports and assists Business Development initiatives aimed at promoting and growing the credit union.

This position is located at:
480 South Keller Road
Orlando, FL 32810

DUTIES

30% - Assists in the coordination and execution of business development events including but not limited to venue selection, planning with event leads, coordination and delivery of collateral materials, event set up and tear down, staff scheduling, event publicity, and staff communication.

25% - Works with Managers and Business Development Executive in the coordination and execution of event follow up activities including but not limited to contacting prize winners, coordinating post event publicity, PTO tracking and reporting.

20% - Provides assistance in the preparation of presentations for educational programs, seminars and expos for the public. Coordinate and assist with pre event publicity and promotion.

10% - Tracks and maintains inventory of promotional items. Assists with obtaining quotes for new items and manage re orders.

10% - Assists in researching materials for reports, presentations, pamphlets, advertising and projects. Proof read printed materials.

5% - Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:
1. Must comply with all credit union departmental and company internal controls, code of ethics and Employee Handbook policies and procedures.
2. Responsible for compliance with BSA, AML, OFAC, and CIP as set forth in credit union policy.
3. To provide and ensure that the Credit Union Service Standards are met on a consistent basis.
4. To assist in achieving the Credit Union's planned market share, assets, loans, and other product/service objectives.
5. To assure communications are accurate, timely and within budget guidelines.
6. Ensure all forms of department communications are accurate, timely, and within budget guidelines.
7. Assist in achieving the credit union's growth objective with respect to new sponsor groups.
8. Assist in providing direction and recommendations to management, based on current research data, regarding market strategies and directions the credit union should take.
9. To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
10. To carry out assigned responsibilities with zero errors as it related to member/non member interaction.
11. Employee must have full knowledge of credit union products.
12. Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
13. Must present a professional image.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.

Education: (1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in house training or apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

Other Skills:
1. Must be able to speak confidently in public;
2. Must be capable of maintaining the confidential integrity of details pertaining to credit union management;
3. Must have excellent organizational skills;
4. Ability to operate personal computer utilizing appropriate software effectively.
