Business Development Specialist - 001C0J Schneider Electric USA, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of equipment for electrical distribution, industrial control, and automation. We have the following
position available in New York, NY:

Business Development Specialist: Contact customers to promote a broad range of manufactured products, solutions, and services. Interpret technical drawings including mechanical and electrical one-line, control and wiring diagrams, bill of material, and job site requirements for low and medium voltage products to address customer inquiries and identify correct products selections, based on needs, specifications, and applicable regulations. Utilize AutoCAD, SKS System Analysis, PDMLink, to track and emphasize product specifications based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product features and limitations. Develop account penetration strategies based on customer’s profitability. Develop business plans, establish strategies, develop account profiles, and execute plans, using experience with coordinating account teams on the highest-level accounts and initiating planning, executing and controlling projects through financial close-out. Apply market and account skills to specific, high profile accounts and target audience to increase profitability. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through in-depth knowledge of customer's organization, relationship, and account dedication. 40 hours per week. 50% travel, customer visits. This position requires a Master’s degree Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in project management or sales engineering, OR a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in project management or sales engineering. Also must have experience with: interpreting technical drawings including mechanical and electrical one-line, control and wiring diagrams, bill of material, and job site requirements for low and medium voltage products; National Electrical Code and local codes for New Jersey and New York; AutoCAD, SKS System Analysis, and PDMLink; low and medium voltage switchgear and low voltage switchboard design and limitations; initiating planning, executing and controlling the projects through financial close-out; and electronic circuit breakers, AC variable frequency drives, and power meters for one-line diagrams.
