An industry leader in ERP software and services to the retail industry is looking for a dynamic, motivated, and results focused individual to join their business development team. Having been in business for over 20 years, they are constantly improving their features and technology available to their retail clients. Their fully integrated, cross-channel, real-time applications are the preferred choice in systems for over 350 Big ticket global retailers.
Qualified candidates must come from a background within a similar software sales industry. Out of state candidates will be considered.
Successful candidate will:
: Possess the prospecting skills to build a robust pipeline for a 3-12 month sales cycle
: Prospect for and identify key decision makers using a consultative selling approach
: Identify prospective customer needs and opportunities to present product targeted solutions
: Strategically focused outbound calls to prospective customers.
: Within first 60 days successfully obtain the product knowledge necessary to sell solutions
: Attend various trade shows to market and sell the company software solutions.
: Travel will be required to demo software to customers.
: Utilize webinars and instructional demo's to showcase product
Requirements include:
: Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or University
: Proven track record of closing business & achieving quota's
: Experienced in ERP, Business Systems or Point of Sales (POS) business development
: Vertical market business application software sales a big plus
: Knowledge of retail business environment is highly desirable
: Strong track record of success in business development and/or national accounts
: Think "out of the box" in identifying customer solutions
: Travel between 20% & 30%
: Excellent presentation & communication skills
: Highly optimistic attitude
: Ability to work independently and with team
: Strong computer skills proficient in Microsoft Office & PowerPoint
