Business Development Lead ~ SMB Team
We are looking for an experienced leader to discover and launch new vertical markets. The Business Development Lead develops and executes our go-to-market plan as Demandforce brings its customizable platform into new industries. While the primary responsibility is to develop, execute and support partnerships, you will perform strategic analysis and lead executives through the deal process. Demandforce is the application that Intuit has placed at the center of its front-office strategy, and you can be the individual who catalyzes that strategy through game-changing deals and relationships with some of the most influential industry leaders.
Your primary role will include:
Creating a vertical-specific market-entry strategy that includes distribution, marketing, technology, product, sales and support
Identifying, executing and supporting strategic partnerships that have material impact on company and customer value
Provide insights into new trends and developments within industry through market analysis as well as recommendations on how to capitalize on those trends
Manage success at industry events and trade shows
You are motivated, well-connected, think strategically and have excellent communication skills
You are comfortable with playing a customer-facing and partner-facing role
Impeccable attention to detail; quick learner
“Get it done” – things do not fall through the cracks; real sense of urgency and prioritization
Experience presenting in front of small and large audiences
