The Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting Specialist assists with gathering data requirements from key stakeholders to understand the type of data needed for reporting. Elicits requirements for projects and enhancements using interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops, surveys and business process descriptions. Leads and performs ad-hoc data research and analysis and provides written summaries of results for non-technical business users. Responsible for end-to-end report development, designing and developing reports using MS SQL Reporting Services 2008 (SSRS), SAS Enterprise Guide and other BI reporting tools. Extracts and verifies credit union data and works with Data Integration team to ensure all extracted data is prepared for the ETL process.

Required Skills

Required Experience

BA/BS in Business, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics or related field with an emphasis on data analysis and data management. Minimum 1-3 years related experience in business intelligence report development. Knowledge and experience using SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS BI Dashboard, SAS Web Report Studio, SAS Information MAP and MS SQL is desired. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel a plus. Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts preferred.
