Job Description:
Summary:
Directs program and project management activities (including technical, contractual, subcontracting, administrative support systems and business components) for regional/local areas or on major programs, in accordance with the business plan and budget. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities:
Analyzes contractual and financial performance and directs activities to improve performance. Works with Business Development to develop new business with existing major client(s) and strategic new clients to achieve goals of revenue, direct margin, utilization and client satisfaction. May serve as proposal manager and/or provides proposal preparation support. Manages key program and project administrative support activities in accordance with contracts and company policies. Acts as technical "mentor" to internal staff members and contributes to internal training as appropriate

Qualifications/Competencies/Experience:
Provides leadership and direction for multiple functional areas or regions through Senior Managers; may also manage Managers
Deploys resources to achieve financial and business objectives across multiple functional areas
Shapes and integrates functional strategies
Has in-depth functional and business expertise
Applies expertise to create financial and operational solutions that apply across multiple functional areas
Leverages relationships with key internal/external customers to support business needs
Identifies business issues that may impact organizational results
Manages and deploys resources within and/or across multiple functional areas
Directs the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems that cross functional lines
Develops business plans to achieve functional or cross-functional objectives
Negotiates with and /influences customers and/or organizational leadership to set priorities and solidify relationships
Leverages the performance management cycle to motivate employees and support achievement of objectives. Must be senior energy efficiency professional with 20 years of experience, including day to day operations of technical, financial and business development functions of efficiency business.
