NA Business Manager
(Additives to Coatings, Packaging and Ink Markets)

While responsible for the sales and marketing of additives to the Coatings, Packaging, and Printing markets, the Business Manager will also be charged with strategy development to take the business to the next level. The role with have key business interface responsibilities with the rest of the global organization including R & D, supply chain, finance, customer service, technical service, distribution, marketing communications, and as well other business units that call on the same end-use markets. Finally, the role will also direct and be involved with interactions in the market at key trade associations and industry networks at all levels. Requirements:

BS in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Engineering, or Business management. MBA preferred.
At least 15 years commercial experience in a combination of sales and/or tech service, product management, and marketing in increasing levels of responsibility associated with additives for the coatings, packaging, and printing markets.

Financial / business acumen and experience to support and direct strategic planning activities.

S & OP process knowledge and oversight experience in a global organization.

Individual must possess financial, commercial, and operational analysis experience in developing and implementing customer price negotiations and contracts.

Capable of seeing the big picture in an analytical and inventive manner to create new models, products, and approaches to the market that will enhance and further grow the unit's leadership position.

Must possess a passion to challenge and lead creative thinking to improve / transform the business in a manner that is respectful, data driven, and culturally sensitive.

Experience in creating, marketing, and selling to the market and other portions of the value chain high value-added additives.

Excellent communication, influence, and problem solving skills, with goal orientation and work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop vision, mission, objectives, and strategies for the additives unit.
Manage portfolio including products and global nature of support organizations' contribution to the NA business.

Manage team of marketing, technical service, and administrative staff.

In a collaborative manner with other internal organizations, communicate and help drive objectives.

Oversight of the additives unit results and performance.
