CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Business Objects Developer to join our team in Washington, DC that has been tasked with re-platforming our federal client's existing data warehouse from a mainframe environment to modern technology.
As the Business Objects Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of the Data Warehouse and for advising on the use deployment and use of the Business Objects toolset to further the business goals of the Data Warehouse. You will work closely with the data architect, program manager and development leads to ensure that the BO tools are being optimally used. In addition, you will be responsible for advising the client on changes to the BO toolset and on the use of existing and new BO tools.
Required
Skills:
Data Modeling, Data Strategy Development experience - 1 to 2 years
Business Objects XI - 3 to 5 years
Oracle 10g+ or DB2 -3 to 5 years
Experience with financial data - 1 to 5 years (desirable)
This is a full-time regular position with CGI Federal located onsite with our client in Washington, DC (Metro accessible) which could require occasional travel to client site in New Orleans, LA.
