Responsible for maintaining timely and accurate Accounts Receivable and census-related information in computerized accounting system and supporting documentation. Responsible for assisting residents with the Medical Assistance application process. Responsible for responding timely to resident inquiries. Responsible for preparing and issuing required communications with residents and/or POAs including, but not limited to, Advance Beneficiary Notices. Responsible for other general Business Office functions as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 2 years general bookkeeping experience and prior experience and knowledge of Medicare and/or Pennsylvania Medical Assistance billing and regulations preferred. Experience with computerized accounting systems, Microsoft Excel and Word preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills required. Limited travel may be required.
