Leads and directs the development and maintenance of the logistical business process architecture for process improvement strategies and initiatives. Develops and maintains processes to improve Ship to Pay efficiency, data integrity and cycle time from shipment of freight to payment of transportation carriers. Improvement through the use of logistical process methods, tools and modeling, process standards and guidelines, metric consultation and data analysis . Improves upon an overall management system architecture by utilizing the Program Management Best Practices. Develops and maintains visibility system in support of that architecture. Works with managers & Business Partners to scope, plan and establish business process direction and strategies. Ensures follow up action for issue resolution. Represents executive management to internal and external business interests in areas such as communicating business policy, strategy and direction.
Facilitates the development of business case and risk analysis of process investment, returns, affordability and resource requirements. Provides guidance and implements data and information management standards; consolidates and simplifies process documents. Guides and facilitates the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals. Acts as liaison between customers and information technology organization to communicate and resolve issues related to computing system requirements. Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel.
