About the Contract: CCSi has been tasked to support the DISA Network Services (NS) Directorate Capabilities Center (NS2) and Process Improvement Office (NSF) to provide increased focus on strategic policy development, enhance senior leadership communication and coordination, apply metrics oversight to execution of year-out operations, implement process alignment and improvement, and oversee communications security (COMSEC) implementation and policy.
Specifically, the CCSi team will assist NS2 and NSF deliver Unified Capabilities with Strategic Planning, Strategic Communications, Year-Out Execution and Operation, COMSEC, and Process Improvement support.
Position Description: The qualified Senior Process Reengineer will support DISA NS2 by continually aligning the services provided by DISA Network Services (NS) to the changing needs/portfolios by identifying and supporting the implementation of improvements that integrate and streamline DISA/NS processes. The position includes reviewing existing DISA documents identified by the Government to determine if procedures are relevant, and if necessary, make recommendations and develop revisions to reflect the current requirements of the Agency. The results of these activities shall be documented and delivered as specified in the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) sections.
Other responsibilities are to assist DISA in reviewing the technical and/or policy content of the plans, programs, and projects of DISA elements, the Joint Staff, OASD, Military Departments, and other agencies that pertain to DISN policy and procedures.
Developing and issuing interim DISA guidance to the user community to inform and advise the community of provisioning (request fulfillment) policy and procedural issues and changes that affect the provisioning and implementation of customer requirements.
The Process Engineer shall be required to call into or host, and attend meetings and conduct interviews, as well as research and review supplementary documents and data requirements in support of DISN efforts.
Reviewing the order entry process and by maintaining and updating the request fulfillment Methods and Procedures, Process Guide annually.
Qualifications for this position include:
Candidate must have sufficient knowledge and skills to assist DISA by preparing inputs for new and/or revised DISA circulars and instructions, policies, process documentation, methods and procedures.
DISA Circulars 310-130-1, 310-130-4, DISA Instruction 310-65-2/and applicable SOPs/process guides/ and Work Instructions.
Must have knowledge to assist DISA in reviewing the order entry process and by maintaining and updating the request fulfillment Methods and Procedures, Process Guide annually.
Minimum of a BS degree in information technology or information assurance
At least 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Preferably with experience in DISA or the Military Services working circuit fulfillment requirements.
Must possess an active Secret clearance.
Skills: Must have very strong verbal and writing skills. Knowledge of the Microsoft suite of tools. Project Management Institute principles/certifications.
Certifications: Security+ certification, Lean Six Sigma, Information Technology Infrastructure Library and eTOM
