Responsible for reviewing essential gift processing and administrative procedures within the Office of Gift Administration and ensuring that such processes support various/new fundraising initiatives, are adequate, functional and conform to University policy, auditor requirements, IRS guidelines and CASE standards. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations and deadlines are met. Under the direction of the Assistant Director, serve as project lead for process improvement changes as well as project lead for gift processing initiatives and solutions involving fundraisers and schools.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
preference for a degree in Business Management
2-3 years of project/process management.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Excellent process management with a strong ability to get work done through others. Solid knowledge of University policies and procedures. Advanced computer skills required (including a working knowledge of development and financial systems, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint). Comprehensive understanding of CASE guidelines and IRS guidelines. Excellent judgement and decision-making abilities, ability to interpret and evaluate policy and procedural requirements and produce and analyse data; effective written and oral communication skills, organisational and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work under the pressure of time and frequent requests from multiple sources each having their own timelines and constraints and with all levels of academic and administrative staff.
