Responsible for collaborating with assigned process owners, business unit(s) and/or product group(s) to identify and recommend strategic process change technology insertion opportunities in support of business objectives and goals. Prioritize and align investments in process design and enabling technology to drive strategies and achieve targeted performance returns on these investments. Lead, drive and implement strategic business process design and improvement programs/initiatives; provide program/project, planning, budgeting and oversight, and develop related operational policies and procedures. Provide strategic and tactical support for cross-functional project teams, designing end-to-end processes supporting new products and/or services.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS or related field.

  • Five years experience in Process Design and Improvement, experience in various core business processes or comparable experience implementing and supporting information systems for relevant business area. Demonstrated leadership ability.

  • Minimum seven (7) years experience in Project Management. Preferred certifications include: business process management, Six Sigma Green or Black Belt or PMI.

  • Demonstrated and proven understanding of project management tools and methodologies (Project Life-Cycle, etc.).

  • Ability to establish strategic relationships and strategic plans with key business area management.

  • Ability to understand complex business problems and apply cost effective solutions. Utilize problem/symptom reduction techniques to isolate requirements and value-added solutions.

  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required.

  • Maintains confidentiality and uses only the minimum amount of protected health information (PHI) necessary to accomplish job related responsibilities.
