Assists Relationship Managers with the tracking, managing, and servicing of existing loans in the business services portfolio. Answers a variety of member inquiries in person, by phone, and via e-mail with regard to business loans, accounts, and transactions. Assists other departmental staff with document preparation and administrative duties. Suggests appropriate TDECU products and services to accommodate member needs. Completes loan applications, interviews loan applicants. Performs all other duties as assigned. Implements and performs according to the established TDECU REAL standards.

1. Member Service
Processes line funding requests. Requests loan review/renewal documents from members, including financial statements, borrowing base reports, floor plan reports, etc.
Provides members with information on deposit accounts, loan inquiries, rates, service charges, restrictions, and other relevant account information.
Educates members on TDECU services and promotions, answers questions, and directs members to appropriate department for specialized services.
Researches delinquency on past due loans, processes, and contacts member to collect payment, make loan adjustments, or process loan extensions.
Tracks key dates and coordinates with members to obtain required information.
Arranges meetings and facilitates meeting preparation.
2. Document Preparation / Administration
Prepares paperwork for opening new accounts and assists Relationship Managers by producing proper documentation.
Assists with the productions and distribution of the NSF authorization reports.
Manages existing loans, accounts, and other business services relations transactions.
3. Auditing / Compliance
Assists Relationship Manager with ongoing compliance verification.
Verifies and audits business service documents for signature accuracy, corrections, and any possible errors.
Processes occasional wire transfers for payroll as needed to ensure compliance with TDECU procedures.
Interacts with Loan Administration to insure credit files for completeness and accuracy from a production standpoint.
4. Departmental & Organizational Support
Assists with a variety of administrative duties including ordering departmental supplies, scheduling Relationship Manager appointments, answering phones, reviewing mail and e-mail, processing business member drafts, and other related activities.
Provides assistance to other TDECU branches as needed to open or modify business accounts, business loans, and answer any other related questions or concerns.
Updates and maintains various records, reports and files specific to department function, as well as compiles and generates records.
5. Community Relations
Actively participates in community relations activities and groups to represent the Credit Union.
Stays abreast of changes within the credit union services and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
(Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
1. Education
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
2. Experience
Two to five years job related experience including familiarity with member service, financial transactions, credit reporting, etc.
Financial Institution experience in role preferred.
3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic knowledge of procedure for opening new accounts, commercial lending practices, and banking procedures.

Strong working knowledge of relevant computer software including Microsoft Office, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. Intermediate or higher level of Excel experience preferred.

Ability to prioritize tasks, organizes, negotiate, and make effective decisions.

Communication skills; both verbally and in writing.

Ability to read and interpret data efficiently.

Reading and comprehension skills required.
