Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA), one of the nation's top Housing Finance Agencies, is looking for 2 people to join our ITS group in the role of Business Architect and Relationship Manager and/or Business Solutions Architect. You will have the opportunity to work with our different lines of business throughout VHDA to understand their business goals and objectives and help identify their future vision. You will then work with the ITS staff to identify opportunities to leverage technology that can provide a competitive advantage for the business as they work towards their future direction.

You will use your skills as a business analyst, technology generalist, business partnership facilitator and as an internal consultant to help VHDA as we work to provide quality, affordable housing to Virginians. You will be part of the Enterprise Architecture Team, working with business leaders and subject matter experts to capture current state business processes, workflows, policies and skill sets as well as applying company and business area strategic goals and objectives to determine alignment. Working with the business, you'll help define the target state and key business decisions for products, services, partners, organization, capabilities and opportunities to leverage technology as part of the business roadmap towards the future state.

Minimum Qualifications
Business Architect and Relationship Manager

? Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent and experience with project management and/or business analysis.
? Five to seven years of experience as a business analyst, with a minimum of two years in business process design and/or business analysis.
? Experience leading workshops and/or brainstorming sessions to capture business processes in near real-time fashion with fast turn-around for business review.
? 3-5 years experience as a business analyst eliciting and writing business requirements and developing workflow diagrams.
? Knowledge of facilitation and organizational change management concepts.
? Experience managing business relationships including managers.
? Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
? Ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives and solve problems that involve remote and elusive symptoms, often spanning multiple environments in a business area.

Business Solutions Architect

? Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience; M.B.A. preferred.
? Five to seven years of experience in at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations.
? Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
? Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
? Strong leadership skills.
? Excellent analytical and technical skills.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Excellent planning and organizational skills. Previous project management experience preferred.
? Knowledge of all components of an enterprise technical architecture.
? Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes.
? Comprehensive knowledge of facilitation and organization change management.
? Experience managing business relationships with senior management stakeholders.
? Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
? Conceptual knowledge of new computing architectures and the implementation of networked computing structures; experience with e-commerce, Web architecture, SOA and Internet/intranet development and implementation a plus.
? Management experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Strategic planning, leadership and relationship management.
- Leading multi-disciplined, high-performance work teams.
- Developing and monitoring delivery of efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
? Knowledge of finance, mortgage lending, accounting, and metrics development.
