The mission for the new Business Strategy Manager is to manage and grow an existing $10 million business segment by utilizing proven sales development and strategic account management skills. To be successful, you will need to know how to drive sales within eCommerce and Brick & Mortar retailers through deep analysis of product, price, promotion, merchandising and user interface / user experience enhancements and testing scenarios.

Specifically, the Business Strategy Manager will guide a cross functional account team in the design, planning, implementation, and data analysis of business enhancement for ecommerce, retail and B2B sales channels. Ultimately managing and driving the business to meet year-over-year growth targets. This individual will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Senior Management to drive revenue growth and product / service innovations.

Responsibilities

Segment Management & Revenue attainment – Ensure annual growth targets are tracked and achieved through, strategic and near-term tactical planning and execution.

Field Marketing and Training – In collaboration with Channel Sales Manager, create and manage annual marketing plans inclusive of training schedule, incentive contests, POP marketing materials, product fairs, e-learning, etc. Manages activities within budget and tracks to positive ROI.

Reporting – Intensely track sales results and forecast modeling on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Uses sales data to create tactical action plans and long term business plans. Provides summary level trends on a regular basis and detailed analysis when necessary.

Innovation – Identify and drive new business opportunities, product & service enhancements within your business segment and in strategic objectives outside the segment.

Influence – Interact and influence business decisions at client senior management levels through detailed product and sales analysis and being a thought leader on all aspects of the business.

Strategic Planning – All aspects of business segment planning, including internal alignment from the top down, and external alignment with key client leaders.

Travel - Estimated 30% travel to client sites and other locations as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field

A minimum of 5 years of business management experience within complex businesses

Previous experience leading and motivating cross functional teams

Intensely focused and motivated individual with excellent organizational skills

Superior analytical, communication, customer service and management skills

Technology, retail and ecommerce enthusiast

Willingness and ability to travel
