Global Business and Document Services (GBDS) is the corporation's primary print production and distribution unit for JPMorgan Chase client collateral including account statements, advices, payroll checks and tax forms among others. GBDS consists of two departments: Statement Processing Services and Business Services.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Business Analysis & Reporting Specialist that will work as part of a team focused on the various disciplines that support the management of Global Business & Document Services. Such disciplines include:
Data analysis, presentation of findings and capacity management.
Assisting in ad-hoc data analysis requests
Preparing presentations for management
Providing analytical support for the GBDS
Analyzing solutions with respect to existing equipment capacities, budgets, technical direction, staffing and priority in relation to other projects.
Building relationships and networking groups with business partners cross functional teams, IT stakeholders, and external vendors
Consolidating data from multiple sources and follow up with management team as needed to obtain information.
Generating weekly/monthly reporting, analyze the data, and recommend actions and/or resolution
Generating and track follow-ups from the weekly and monthly meetings.
Knowledge and Skills
Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines plus have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and to develop innovative solutions
Excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills
Candidate should be highly adaptable, able to manage multiple projects/deliverables independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility in a team setting.
Demonstrated intermediate to advanced PC proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential
Visio and Access, proficiency is desired
A BS/BA degree, preferably majoring in Industrial Engineering, Management, Business, Accounting, Economics, Operations, Mathematics and/or MIS
Results-oriented, forward-thinking, confident undergraduate with a Preferred Cumulative GPA of 3.3
Relevant internship experience and demonstrated leadership in a school or community organization
An aptitude for numbers is a must; Non-business majors must demonstrate quantitative aptitude both scholastically and practically
