Align Technology, Inc. is looking for a Business Support Engineer Analyst to provide Tier III support, troubleshooting, and solutions for the front-line support work groups using JAVA/J2EE development and IDE Eclipse development tool.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your daily tasks will include: provide Tier III support, troubleshooting, and solutions for the front-line support work groups using JAVA/J2EE development and IDE Eclipse development tool; develop a deep understanding of our applications and systems within Align, including Oracle/SQL database technologies; work with developers to identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems; configure and administer Weblogic and Tomcat servers; address urgent issues efficiently and quickly and provide work arounds as necessary; implement TIBCO middleware using C# programming language and Perl scripting; document frequent issues into work instructions and follow up with customers for knowledge transfer; document required bug fixes, end-user feature improvements, and operations feature improvements; document exceptions and fixes for inclusion into roadmap projects or mini-releases; work with Systems Integration and Development to identify the correct release cycle; provide feedback to product team and recommend training sessions of specific functions and/or processes; work with Sharepoint to establish a process of handling issues and processing them with closure; participate in UAT and support project releases; prioritize bug fixes and verify the same; train Customer Care, Tech Support and External Partners; and prepare monthly quality metrics.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's in computer science, engineering or related (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
4 years of experience with full software development life cycle.
Weblogic/Tomcat Server configuration/administration.
C# programming language.
Oracle/SQL database technologies, including queries, triggers and stored procedures.
IDE Eclipse development tool.
