Job Summary:
Works with business unit and shared services teams to analyze, design, test, and implement new software and software enhancements. Develops user stories, requirements, models, workflows, forms, reports, and test scripts to support agile development process.

Responsibilities:
Gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process review, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.

Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile s conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguishes user requests from the underlying true needs.

Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with business and technical staff in on-site and virtual environments.

Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional Requirements (Business Requirements Document), Testing Plans/Scripts, User Stories, Use Cases, Screen and Interface designs and related process documentation.

Develops or modifies procedures to solve complex business problems.

Responsible for the creation of test scripts, as well as performing, manages, and coordinating testing efforts, such as unit, end-to-end, UAT, etc.

Assists with change management activities as needed.

Develops and maintains subject matter expertise in industry, platform and business solutions.

Successfully engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Collaborates with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in business management or a computer-related field, or equivalent work experience.

3-5 years business analysis and project management experience in a technical industry.

Experience working with business groups to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and workflows.

Experience with process management and process change implementation.

Experience with IT service management platforms based on the ITIL framework preferred.

Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.

Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Able to quickly learn and understand diverse business, operational, and technical information.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Experience with testing tools and writing automated test scripts.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including; executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Visio. Knowledge of Microsoft Project preferred.

Assertive –Must be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls. If agile, ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum concepts and principles.

Communication Skills – Must be able to communicate well with the scrum team, other scrum teams and senior management.

Facilitative – Must be able to lead and facilitate team discussions and interaction with other teams, both agile and non-agile teams.

Enthusiastic – Must have high-energy to be able to motivate and encourage the team.

Continuous improvement - Must continually grow not only themselves but the entire team. Learning from other teams and learning new tools and techniques to bring to the team. Passion for continuous improvement.

Conflict resolution - Must be able to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches, within the team, with other teams and with stakeholders.

Attitude of transparency – Must desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the business about development and grow business trust. Doesn't hold back anything that needs to be said, provides current, direct, complete, and "actionable" positive and corrective feedback.
